The Capital Region’s only alt-weekly magazine, Metroland celebrated its 30th year in existence last week by polling current and past staff-members about some of their favorite things from the area. The Kamikaze Hearts appeared on the musicians and band list, tying with seminal band Blotto for the third best act of the last 30 years! A humbling proclamation, the magazine writes “The Kamikaze Hearts are the youngest act here, by a few years, but quite possibly the most celebrated local act of the last decade.” Thanks Metroland for the kind words… right back atcha!
