Collar City Records is proud to unveil a brand new website! Looks like 2009 is turning out to be a great year for music, especially in the Capital District and we are looking forward to contributing some intriguing new items to that mass. This site is intended to offer and deliver our content seamlessly and easily and we appreciate any feedback regarding the site and its functions.

Some new features:

FREE: clicking on “FREE” above in the navigation bar will take you to a list of free music from Collar City Records. One or two free mp3s from each album will be available for streaming and downloading. These mp3s are encoded at high bit-rates for maximum musical enjoyment. In the next few weeks, we will be adding some brand-new music to this section that will be exclusive, free digital releases from some familiar CCR faces and perhaps some new folks… Stay tuned, please!

INDIVIDUAL RSS FEEDS: mouseover “NEWS” above, find your favorite CCR artist, click, and find the “RSS Feed for this section” link just under the Category bar to subscribe to single artist’s news feeds.

PRESS: for those press folks who are looking for high-quality images and press information, visit this gallery for all your needs!

STORE: We will have a brand new online store launching within the next week that will include direct digital downloads. The plan is to offer high-quality DRM-free mp3s at a reasonable price as an alternative to some of the other digital download stores out there.
